The principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites.
This is a website that I built from scratch using HTML and CSS. The reason I built this website as my project is simply because I wanted to show and example of what is possible under the current protections that our internet has. Something I made is able to be put on the worldwide web for everybody to see at no extra charge and regardless of what it says.
You can see an entire timeline of the events throughout net neutrality's history by following this link. A woman named Yvonne Chan made an article that shows a thorough history of the fight for this movement.
The best thing you can do is let your political representative know how you feel about it. The more they know how important it is to have, the better chance we have at securing it.
